Jeep Nuts is a community created for people who are NUTS about all things Jeep related!

Welcome aboard!

Whether it’s out wheeling yourself, surfing for parts, seeing something cool about Jeeps or just need a Jeep related topic fix then this is the place to be.

We are ALL about having FUN and helping other Jeep Nuts out when and where we can with all aspects of Jeeping. Quite simply if it’s about Jeeps then it qualifies! 

We were established in 2014 and based in Canada but have no issues with spreading the Jeep Nut philosophy of fun world wide! Although we are not a traditional Jeep club, we love and support Jeep clubs and consider them our comrades.

Building Our Jeep Community

We use social media platforms to connect our community and promote other communities as well. We also use them to help support our fellow Jeep Nuts when in need. When out on the trails it’s not uncommon for a fellow Jeep Nut to get stuck and call on the local community to get, as we like to call it, “pulled out by the nuts”!

Our Nutty Team is Small But Mighty

We do not have official structuring like your typical Jeep club. Instead, we have our Founder, Stephen Davis along with our International President, aka our head nut, Jacques Arsenault and International Vice-President Justin Weir. We have local chapter Presidents, VPs, plus volunteer nuts who flex their skills here and there to help support the community.

A Message From The Founder - Jeep Nuts Origins Story - Click Here To Read It!

The idea of Jeep Nuts came to me sitting in my deck chair poolside at the Iberostar Daiquiri located in Cayo Guillermo, Cuba.
Chatting with my Brother-in-Law, Scottie, we chatted innocently about the difficulties and bad experiences we had had with other groups and clubs with restrictions, arguments, and a seemingly plethora of limitations, rules and regulations placed on us while Jeeping and we tossed around the idea of starting our own group.
We laughed and made-up funny stories and scenarios, never thinking for a second of taking what we were discussing too seriously but we dared to dream.
We thought about what it would be like to be a part of a group where there would be absolutely no membership fees or costs and that all who intended to join only need to know ONE RULE … ZERO DRAMA.
Now Scott and I didn’t stay on the topic long as we were on vacation and enjoying the sun and the company of our wives but something stuck with me that day.
Once back home I pondered how I could go about starting my own group for people who are all just nuts about Jeeping but don’t want or need any drama, negativity, costs, restrictions or limitations because after all… this is what we all want to do in our spare time for fun!
I am not very computer savvy but I googled info on how to open and create a website and fiddled with that for well over a month until I had it to a point where I needed a name for the site.
I initially called it Jeepers Creepers and Scottie came up with the slogan ” If it ain’t creepin… It ain’t Jeepin” and I opened the site for public viewing and joining. Let me just say that due to my limited computer skills that site didn’t take off or do very well and after a few short months I just abandoned it and gave up on the idea.
A few months later I still found myself wanting to move forward in a positive way and wanted to give back to the Jeeping community that acceptance, fun and excitement I had been shown by seasoned Jeepers when I was just a newbie at it before all the drama took over and almost ruining my Jeeping experience and forcing me to consider getting out of the sport altogether.

So, once again I foraged into the computer world and came across Facebook Groups. Once there I trudged around the virtual world not really knowing what I was doing but just kept clicking the boxes and reading the info and imputing info as I wanted to and BOOM! It came to a point where I needed a name again! I thought about catchy names and funny slogans and came up with a few but nothing ever really caught the essence, nor the feeling of wheeling so I kept at it until all at once it came to me. I believed I hit on the most simplistic and truest words ever spoken in the Jeeping community that transcends borders, age, race and religion … to everyone who is just nuts about Jeeping. JEEP NUTS was born. The slogan came even easier as it was obviously a play on words with a playful light side but also a deep-seated truth found within all Jeepers… they stick together.

The Facebook Group Jeep Nuts was way better than the old website first created and I only thought it would grow locally with all my friends and their friends joining in daily. I was super excited one day I looked at the group stats and we had surpassed 50 members! Can you imagine, 50 people all nuts about Jeeping and embracing my ideology of having a group of like-minded individuals from various backgrounds who just want to have fun and not crap on anyone else’s posts or pics or bad mouth any other group nor accept any drama! Mind-blown!

Fast forward months later… My wife was getting a quote on how much it would cost renovate our kitchen. The building supply company sent an employee to our house to take measurements and our info and such and low and behold she arrived to our house in a red 2 door Jeep JK. Me looking out the window and still wanting to spread the word and warmth of the Jeep Nuts noticed that the employees’ husband was just sitting in the jeep waiting for our business to conclude so I took it upon myself to wave and invite him in to chat about his Jeep and take him into what was later dubbed the Jeep Nut Garage and see how I could help him with any questions or modifications or anything Jeep related if he was so inclined. As it turned out the husband that I waved in that day was none other than Jacques Arsenault, the man directly responsible for Jeep Nuts expanding to the size, the swag and places it has reached today!

Jeep Nuts is now 6 years old, as of 2020, and I cannot say enough about its growth and membership. The genuine support for this group is absolutely amazing and I can’t thank each and every one of our members enough for joining up and embracing this way of Jeeping. I can honestly say I have found the core and heart of the Jeeping enthusiast and it does not lay within groups or clubs or rules, etc.. it lies within each one of its members… THEY are the heart and soul of Jeep Nuts and they continue to make the Nuts swell in numbers and throb with each new exciting and interesting post. 

They have shown the love for the one basic rule and thought of creating a drama-free, positive, supportive group that started this whole thing and the Nuts have spoken… You are ALL indeed JEEP NUTS and you all definitely stick together!
